Jake Haynes, with the Catawba County Extension office, will guide you on how to build your own wooden planter box from scratch! We provide everything you’ll need, including plant starters. 

Talk about all things Tolkien while joining in fellowship to build Rivendell using LEGO® bricks! After all building sessions are done the completed piece will be on display at the library.

We are taking story time outside as we join certified fitness instructors from Stretch-n-Grow for a stretchy, awesome, cardio-infused story time! Please bring a towel, blanket, or yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing.

Our community health fair will feature local non‑profit and government organizations. Drop in to explore free resources, learn about wellness services, and connect with groups dedicated to supporting our community’s health.

As Mother's Day and graduation seasons approach, craft a brick block flower to express your love in a permanent way. This program is presented in partnership with Bricks & Minifigs.

Bring your adult and together paint pottery to celebrate Mother's Day. Both child and adult will get to select a piece of pottery to paint. 

Please register for both adult and child.

Socializing is easy at the library! Preschool families can join this program for structured literacy supported play. This program is best suited for ages 2-4.
