Enjoy live music performances from local musicians as members of our monthly Songwriting Club perform the musical works they have been writing over the past year.
Stay after the Songwriting Club showcase for a performance from Sycamore Bones, an americana band from Lenoir. Sycamore Bones blends country, folk, and alternative rock and features two songwriters, Andrew Massey (on electric guitar) and Cory Kinal (on acoustic guitar). Rounding out the group is Nora Kinal (on fiddle), Ryan Kinal (on bass), and Cody Pennell (on drums). Sycamore Bones delivers a heartfelt and energetic live performance that has been likened to Wilco, John Prine, REM, Old 97s, and Watchhouse, while developing their own unique sound.
The showcase musical line-up is arranged by Songwriting Club facilitator Andrew Massey.
