April topic: Preventing Crisis by Understanding Anger

Letter Link, a monthly meet up pen pal group focusing on engaging young writers’ literacy skills through creating postcards and letters for nonprofit organizations.

Participants will learn chess basics, strategies, and tactics by playing with other chess enthusiasts in the community. All skill levels, from beginners to champions are welcome.

Step into the limelight to share original poetry, spoken word, song or rap in celebration of Poetry Month. We welcome you to a casual event where all levels of performers can take the stage and express themselves in a supportive environment.

April's meeting of the Catawba County Genealogical Society is co-sponsored with Hickory Public Library and hosted at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library.

Big Bird and his friends, Elmo and Hu Hu Zhu explore how the Earth, moon, and night sky are similar for all people no matter where they live. This show examines the similarities and differences between the Earth and the moon.
