August Focus: Weaving

Adventurers are invited to play Dungeons & Dragons at the library! Each month will feature multiple sessions at once to accommodate all levels, from absolute beginner to seasoned adventurer alike.

Display your favorite captured moments of the summer! Learn basic embroidery stitches to create a decorative frame for your photos.

Come strum and play along with us in a fun, supportive, and relaxed environment. All levels of experience are welcome.  

Arrive at 6:00pm for helpful tips on getting started playing ukulele. Jam starts at 6:15.

Chair yoga offers an accessible practice towards wellness of both body and mind. This free class will focus on breath, gentle adapted poses, and meditation. Chairs are used for seated and supported standing poses.

Learn how to play ukulele in a fun, supportive, relaxed group environment. Participants will learn basic chords and strum patterns, and start playing songs during the program.

Join us at Taft Broome Park for stories, songs, and hands-on STEAM activities for young scientists. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on. In the event of rain, story time will be held inside Ridgeview Branch Library.
