“Hey kid, did you know that dragons love tacos,” and when they eat the tacos, they make so much noise! Learn how to write music with Heather Niemi Savage, an accomplished composer and graduate research assistant in music composition at Appalachian State University. In this two-part program, Heather will lead kids in a musical retelling of Dragons Love Tacos. Kids will learn how music can enhance a story as they compose melodies and sound effects using their voices and musical instruments. Crispy tortillas, sizzling pans, and fiery salsa sounds all around!
