Wonder Lab is designed for children ages 7+ and explores varying themes such as coding, circuitry, architecture, and more through interactive stations.    

Explore the world of robotics by learning how to code simple bots to change colors, follow paths, or even make silly sounds! Have fun learning with the Ozobots and Bee Bots, and then design a bot that wiggles to leave colorful scribbles on paper!

The Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 7 and up. An adult must accompany users younger than age 12 at all times. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.
