Event Details
Learn about writing romance from inspiration to publication with local romance author Lori Thorn. Lori draws from real-life experiences to craft compelling characters, and so can you! Attendees will learn to draw inspiration from snippets of their life and get a raw view of character and plot development. Lori will also describe what comes after the first draft is finished, including the differences in traditional and indie publishing. Journals will be provided so participants can begin their own romance writing journey.
About the author:
Lori Thorn is a five-time (and counting) author of immersive romances that will make you want to be besties with some characters and gossip about others. She believes that romance is important and transformative, which is why she releases both open- and closed-door editions of each of her works. Simply stated, everyone deserves good romance.Lori lives in Valdese, North Carolina. When she’s not engaging in bookish activity, you might find her on the trails, making music, in the kitchen, or enjoying her family.
