Event Details

May is National Preservation Month. Bring in a picture, slide, negative or cassette to get hands on practice using The Learning Lab’s preservation equipment. We will have a flat bed scanner, cassette to MP3 converter, and slide/film scanner to help you in safeguarding your memories.

The Learning Lab

The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 12 and up. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.
