In this hands-on kokedama workshop, learn the Japanese art of creating living moss ball planters. Select your favorite plant, shape the moss and soil into a beautiful ball, personalize your creation with decorative elements, and learn how to care for your new botanical artwork.

The Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 12 and up. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.
