Journey through billions of years of natural history as we examine the fossil record from primitive marine organisms to massive dinosaurs and mighty mammals of the Ice Age. Bring Earth's past to life with a hands-on experience and discover how ancient life left a permanent mark in stone, unearthing the remarkable story of our planet's past.

Presented by Rhonda Roederer, a retired consultant micropaleontologist who spent over 40 years working in the oil industry of the Gulf of Mexico, both onshore and offshore. A micropaleontologist is a specialized geologist who studies microscopic fossils, unlocking clues about Earth's history. In the oil industry, these tiny fossils are critical for identifying rock layers underground and locating oil and gas reserves. While her career was focused at the microscopic level, Rhonda's passion for fossils extends to the macro scale, making her a devoted collector and enthusiast of the larger fossils that span the entire geologic time scale.
