Learn how to use The Learning Lab’s embroidery machine to create a custom patch! Edit a design, choose your stitch colors, and watch the machine work its magic. You will leave with a unique iron-on patch ready to affix to a bag, item of clothing, or any accessory you love.

The Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 7 and up. An adult must accompany users younger than age 12 at all times. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.
