Spring into service to give back to your community! Help prep the community garden at Taft Broome Park. We’ll be weeding garden beds, adding leaf compost, and tiding up the grounds. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle.

You’re invited to join in on a community drum circle and find your rhythm at the library! (No drumming experience needed!) 

Enjoy live music performances from local musicians as members of our monthly Songwriting Club perform the musical works they have been writing over the past year.  

Celebrate the start of a colorful summer! We’re kicking off Summer Learning with an outdoor celebration at Taft Broome Park. Fun will include a color splash zone, crafts, DJ, free Kona Ice, and more.

In the event of rain, story time will be held inside Ridgeview Branch Library.

Learn some basics of chemistry through fiery demonstrations. Demonstrations include dry ice and liquid nitrogen favorites, elephant toothpaste, and more. 

In the event of rain this program will move to Drendel Auditorium. 

Everyone is invited to Color Our World with nature! Create nature-inspired art including Tatakizome cloth prints (printmaking using mallets and botanicals).
