Many people love to grow plants but have little outdoor space to do so. In this program, led by NC Cooperative Extension Agent Jake Haynes, learn ideas on how to make the most of gardening in small spaces.

The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 12 and up. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.

Birds have captured the imagination of humans for thousands of years. In this program presented by the Carolina Raptor Center, the audience will learn what sets raptors apart as a unique species with the help of several avian ambassadors.
