Everyone is invited to Color Our World with nature! Create nature-inspired art including Tatakizome cloth prints (printmaking using mallets and botanicals).

Celebrate the release of the book Outlaws, Pirates, and Other Adventurers by Rob McHale with a delightful evening of music and storytelling.

The film for August is The Last of Sheila, directed by Herbert Ross.

Crafters unite at our monthly meetup! Bring your work(s) in progress and meet fellow creators, exchange ideas, and explore the various equipment The Learning Lab has to offer. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.  

Join us at Taft Broome Park for stories, songs, and hands-on STEAM activities for young scientists. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on.

In the event of rain, story time will be held inside Ridgeview Branch Library.

Friends of Hickory Public Library will host a used book sale Thursday, October 23 - Saturday, October 25.  Proceeds support library services and programs.
