Bring your family and friends to the library to hear new stories and explore STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through hands-on tinkering. 

K-5th graders are invited every third Monday, 6-7pm, for hands on art projects. 

In December, we will create Squishmallow Pop-Art inspired by Andy Warhol. 

Add small hand-crafted gifts to your stockings this year! From fridge magnets to fidgets, the options are as big as your creativity.  

Bring friends and family to celebrate Kwanzaa! April C. Turner will perform stories, dances, and songs to demonstrate the community building principles and symbols of the Kwanzaa celebration.  
 

Hickory-based shredding company Enviroshred will offer their annual free paper shredding service in the Patrick Beaver Memorial Library's parking lot.  Individuals will have the opportunity to shred at no charge up to two boxes or bags of per
