The Learning Lab
The Learning Lab is available to library patrons ages 12 and up. A current Hickory Public Library card is required to use Learning Lab equipment. Patrons must sign the user agreement policy and participate in a free orientation session conducted by library staff before using the Lab.
The League of Women Voters of Catawba Valley will be in the lobby at Ridgeview Branch Library where individuals can stop by at any time to register to vote and ask questions about the voting process.
The library invites young readers to improve their reading skills by reading to a licensed therapy dog. This fun opportunity will help build fluency and confidence. Sign up for a half hour appointment to start your Paws journey. Caregivers are required to stay in the room during the appointment.
