Handmade Holidays: Fall Watercolor Painting

About the Artist: 

Mark Anderson is a North Carolina based watercolor and acrylic fine artist. He likes to engage all the senses and emotions of the observer in his works. He often incorporates textures, lights and sounds to bring the observer into the piece and awaken in them a new sense of consciousness. Mark lived in England, France, Germany and Mallorca, Spain. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, painting the landscapes and old city streets of towns left behind by time. “I don’t teach people to paint. I encourage them to explore their artistic abilities. I want them to walk away from my class with a feeling that they have rediscovered a part of themselves that they once knew as children. A fearless joy of self-expression.”
